Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager of Finance and Accounts for client (e-commerce business) services. This role supports the CFO and Management of client in various financial and accounting activities, contributing to the financial health of the organization. The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting in financial reporting, analysis, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting standards.

Accounting Operations:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies and resolve any accounting issues.

Budget Support:

  • Collaborate with the CFO and COO in the development and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Help analyze budget variances and suggest cost optimization strategies.

Compliance and Taxation:

  • Support the Manager in ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Assist in liaising with external auditors and tax authorities when required.

Financial Analysis:

  • Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
  • Prepare financial models and provide insights into financial performance.

Financial Systems:

  • Work with financial systems and tools (e.g., ERP systems, MS Excel) to maintain financial records and reports.
  • Help implement and maintain financial controls.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Assist in communicating financial information to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide financial data and reports for management decision-making.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant with 5 Years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce financial dynamics is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements.
