Audit Associate
We are looking out for zealous and aspiring individuals who are keen on experiencing a diversified work culture in a growing international firm.
You will be expected to work closely with team members and under guidance from your superiors on audit engagements which may include planning, performing, and concluding the engagement. You will also work closely with clients and manages their expectations to further nurture on-going client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation and/or review of audit documentation for corporate governance and financial reporting
- Execute assigned engagement-related tasks in compliance with professional standards
- Propose resolutions to significant accounting and auditing issues
- Review information accompanying the assurance report in accordance with applicable framework
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification
- 1 – 3 years and 2 – 5 years of relevant experience will be considered for Associate and Senior role respectively, but candidates with no experience are also welcome to apply
- Commendable analytic and technical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently as well as a team player

Accounting & Advisory Associate
This role offers an excellent opportunity to quickly build upon your accounting, tax and financial management experience. You will form part of a team providing accounting and advisory support to international businesses from a diverse range of industries.
Responsibilities:
- Develop your understanding of the: business model, drivers of financial performance and accounting and tax risks for each of the clients in your portfolio.
- Ensure accurate recording of accounting transactions and analyse financial information, to prepare meaningful monthly management accounts and supporting schedules.
- Prepare financial statements under SFRS and other international GAAP.
- Prepare GST returns and assist with tax compliance matters.
- Coordinate with external parties including external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial and government authorities, where required.
- Work with other Mazars teams, domestic and international, to meet client’s needs.
- Establish good client relationships through positive interactions with the client’s team.
- Involve in any other adhoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor in Accountancy
- 1 – 3 years and 2 – 5 years of relevant experience will be considered for Associate and Senior role respectively, but candidates with no experience are also welcome to apply
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel; knowledge of accounting software (XERO, SAP and/or NetSuite) is an advantage

Valuations Associate
We are looking for highly motivated and dynamic professionals to join our Valuations team, which is the center of excellence within APAC,. You will have the opportunity to work on cross-border assignments within the region. This role will not only be valuations-focused but will also have opportunities to work on other M&A advisory related assignments.
Responsibilities:
- Perform market and industry research.
- Develop financial models to value private companies.
- Identify and value intangible assets for financial reporting, tax or M&A purposes.
- Analyse if the financial projections are reasonable by comparing against appropriate benchmarks.
Requirements:
- Background in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance or other relevant field
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights and construct solutions
- Tenacious and willing to learn on the job
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically, Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Management Consulting Associate
Our management consultants are exposed to a diverse range of projects including, but not limited to: organisational design, business strategy, cash flow optimisation, etc.. You will work closely with the team to enhance clients’ businesses to operate at its best. You will be able to develop your experience and knowledge to spot the areas where businesses can be reinvigorated and enhanced.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and organise information to build the consulting case
- Be able to get an understanding of our client’s business environment, identify data sources, visualise large and complex data, to develop dashboard and analysis for business performance monitoring and reporting
- Conduct financial analysis and build related financial models to validate our client’s organic or inorganic growth strategies
- Conduct market intelligence consisting of industry and competitive outlook.
- Assist to formulate key strategies and business roadmaps based on primary and secondary research gathered
- Execute assigned financial management and planning consultancy projects
- Interact and advise clients proactively on matters pertaining to assigned projects
- To work as a team to ensure the quality of the team’s deliverables are in the line of the client’s expectations
- Support senior members through presentations and written reports.
Requirements:

HR & Payroll Associate
This role offers an excellent opportunity to build upon your payroll expertise and experience. You will form part of a team providing outsourcing services and support to international businesses from a diverse range of industries.
Responsibilities:
- Under the guidance of your Senior/Manager, develop your understanding of the payroll structure and components.
- Prepare and support end-to-end payroll processing and recording of client’s payroll, which includes but not limited to monthly payroll, social security administration, statutory filing, year-end adjustments and filing individual income tax return.
- Participate in daily data entry and any other related payroll processing procedures.
- Preparing of monthly payroll summary report, GL & journal entry reports.
- Manage and handle queries from clients on payroll related matters by responding effectively and timely manner.
- To ensure compliance of all mandatory legislative requirements.
- Work with other Mazars teams, domestic and international, to meet client’s needs
Requirements:
- Degree in Human Resource or business-related subject
- 1 – 3 years and 2 – 5 years of relevant experience in payroll function will be considered for Associate and Senior role respectively, but candidates with no experience are also welcome to apply!
